The reason why I say this is because Nitro+Chiral had another visual novel named Togainu no Chi that had another rapist character named Shiki. Mink does not look attractive (at least compared to the other characters) and looks a lot older than usual, while Virus and Trip are as bishounen as usual. I've wondered what could be the reason, and had come up with some guesses.
While I think that all three of them are quite horrible for using rape, I do find the polarizing response to these three very interesting. Oddly enough, while Mink is ridiculed for raping Aoba, Virus and Trip are very loved characters, and in fact find them raping Aoba hot in some sense. They both have one thing in common: their stories involve raping our fellow main character. Mink is a potential love interest for our main character Aoba, while Virus and Trip are two of his friends whose ending is counted as a bad ending. You see, there are these three characters in this conversation: Mink, Virus and Trip.
With that in mind, I decided to tour a bunch of Tumblr posts and see what my fellow fans have been thinking.Īnd I've come to a very interesting conversation. If you know anything about me, you know well that I really love DRAMAtical Murder and am now watching the anime in the high hopes that the visual novel is at the very least represented well enough for newcomers to come into the show liking what they see (and leave a bit traumatized if they didn't expect the gayness to occur).
